We operate in several main fields, that allow us to implement the Goshen vision among professionals, policy officials, other organizations and the general public
Goshen’s professional training courses provides knowledge and practical tools to community pediatricians in the fields of developmental and behavioral medicine, and acquaints participants with community services.
“How You’ve Grown”, is a user-friendly site, in Hebrew and Arabic, offers hundreds of articles, videos and tool kits for parents to learn about their children’s social, emotional, cognitive, behavioral and developmental needs.
An extensive selection of lecture videos, peer-reviewed articles translated from English to Hebrew, tool kits that can be downloaded for professionals to use in their practice, research papers and presentations.
We support graduates of the professional training courses to return to their communities and incorporate their newfound knowledge and skills, by creating a growing network of community pediatric specialists.
Goshen is working with the Bernard van Leer Foundation and a major international foundation, alongside the Ministry of Health, to develop a training model to empower Tipat Halav Well Baby Clinic nurses to support parents.
Goshen works with policy makers, government ministries, public forums and foundations to transform early childhood care, by creating an integrated community approach for children and their families.
Goshen’s Research and Evaluation Unit is leading efforts to develop ongoing national and local data collection methods to inform policies and provide an essential base for evaluating intervention programs.
