The Goshen non-profit organization was founded in 2014 by Israel’s leading pediatricians and Australia’s internationally renowned Professor Frank Oberklaid. All recognized the need to advance children’s optimal health, development and wellbeing by transforming the way that services are delivered to children and families.
Goshen works with physicians, policy-makers and partners across the community eco-system to significantly change the landscape of early childhood development in Israel. This is especially relevant in underserved communities and for marginalized populations.
The early years are critical for every child to have the chance to succeed in life.
Goshen believes that with the right vision, investment and policies, Israel can radically change children’s lives; especially those that are most vulnerable. This is vital for changing the needle on child development, strengthening civil society and shaping the future of Israel.
